Pengaruh Edukasi Melalui Aplikasi Digital Elsimil terhadap Pengetahuan dan Kesiapan Wanita Pra-Nikah dalam Upaya Pencegahan Stunting di KUA Kecamatan Karangtengah Kabupaten Cianjur Tahun 2026

Abstract

Background: The premarital period is an important period for prospective brides and grooms, in preparing health, especially physical health in efforts to prevent stunting since the preconception period. Objective: To determine the effect of education through the Elsimil digital application on the knowledge and readiness of premarital women in efforts to prevent stunting at the KUA Karangtengah Cianjur sub-district in 2026. Method: The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design approach. The sampling technique used Purposive sampling of 30 respondents divided into 15 respondents in the intervention group received education through the Elsimil digital application and 15 respondents in the control group read the Elsimil application independently. Data analysis used paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. Results: The results showed that in the intervention group there was an effect of education through the Elsimil digital application on the knowledge of premarital women with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) and on readiness with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05). In the control group who read the Elsimil application independently, there was also an effect on knowledge with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) and on readiness with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05). The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant difference in influence between the intervention group and the control group on knowledge with a p-value = 0.041 (<0.05) and readiness with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: Education through the Elsimil digital application has an effect on increasing the knowledge and readiness of premarital women in efforts to prevent stunting at the KUA, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency in 2026. Education through the Elsimil digital application accompanied by material delivery is more effective than reading the Elsimil application independently.
