Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to JUPRA: Jurnal Pengabdian Terapan undergo a peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Review stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
    The editor evaluates the manuscript for scope suitability, completeness, and preliminary plagiarism screening.

  2. Reviewer Assignment
    Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least one or two expert reviewers.

  3. Review Process (Double-Blind Review)
    The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective assessment.

  4. Reviewer Recommendation
    Reviewers may recommend:

    • Accept without revision

    • Accept with minor revision

    • Accept with major revision

    • Reject

  5. Author Revision
    Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised version.

  6. Final Decision by Editor
    The editor makes the final decision based on the review results and revisions.

  7. Publication
    Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout before online publication.
