Plagiarism Policy

JUPRA: Jurnal Pengabdian Terapan upholds academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Plagiarism policy provisions:

  1. Manuscripts must be original works and have not been previously published elsewhere.

  2. Authors must properly cite and reference all quoted materials, ideas, data, or figures taken from other sources.

  3. Prohibited misconduct includes:

    • Direct plagiarism

    • Partial plagiarism

    • Self-plagiarism (republishing one’s own work without proper citation)

    • Text manipulation to evade plagiarism detection

  4. The acceptable similarity index is a maximum of 25% (excluding references, direct quotations, and journal templates).

  5. Manuscripts exceeding the similarity threshold will be:

    • Returned to the authors for revision, or

    • Rejected if serious ethical violations are identified.

JUPRA reserves the right to reject, retract, or cancel the publication of any article proven to violate plagiarism ethics.
